During the art fair Art Basel Miami 2014 mexican architect Fernando Romero unveiled his plans for the LAAM. The “Latin American Art Museum” in Miami (Florida, USA) will host modern and contemporary art on 90.000 ft². On three levels visitors will find exhibitions, parking and services. LAAM is going to be situated within a residential complex, so it will work as the main access to the people living in the 111 apartments, which are going to be built later.
